Tomato Paste

Tomato paste is a concentrated product made by cooking ripe tomatoes down to a thick, smooth consistency. It can be used to make ketchup, reconstituted tomato juice, and other tomato-based products. In small amounts, it enriches sauces and is also an excellent base for pizza sauce.
